A celebration of the Sick, Twisted, & Macabre 🎬 🔪

Where film festival meets freakshow - Welcome to the sickest little horror show this side of the morgue!

On April 20th, 2024 (4/20 lol haha weed joke, yeah, we know.), Doctor Chainsaw’s Horror-a-Thon exploded onto the scene as a fully immersive, blood-splattered celebration of independent horror and the demented creators behind them! Curated by filmmaker R.J. De León vega and MC’d by the deranged midnight host Doctor Chainsaw himself, the festival showcased a lineup of groundbreaking short films from predominantly female horror filmmakers—amplifying underrepresented voices and ripping through the genre with fearless vision and style.

The Horror-a-Thon was a massacre in the best way: packed house, killer crowd, and a screening block so strong it left the audience shaken, stirred, and screaming for more. Each film was introduced by Doctor Chainsaw—a chaotic late-night horror host who delivered carnage, commentary, and just the right amount of unhinged energy to glue your eyeballs to the screen.

This festival isn’t just about horror—it’s about voice, vision, and viscera.

Following its wildly successful debut and overwhelming response, the Horror-a-Thon plans to become a reoccurring event, doubling down on its mission: to spotlight bold, diverse voices in horror and to give independent filmmakers the blood-soaked spotlight they deserve.

Sick films. Killer talent. No pretentious bullshit. Just pure, unfiltered horror mayhem.

This isn’t just a film festival—it’s a fucking reckoning!
